PROJECT YUMI FUNDRAISING RAFFLE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.

To be eligible to enter, you must be a resident of Papua New Guinea. This major raffle is open to all current supporters, new supporters, family and friends of Project Yumi Incorporated and the public. Project Yumi Incorporated team members are excluded as eligible to enter.


Entrants must contact a Project Yumi Incorporated Raffle Ticket Seller to purchase a ticket and provide their contact details as required. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible.


Complete entries will include at least a first name, surname, an email address and/or telephone number at a minimum. Entrants are not restricted or limited to the number of raffle tickets which may be purchased.


Raffle tickets sales will commence on Monday 15th May 2023 at 9.00pm and conclude on Thursday 14th July 2023 at 7.30 pm. Entrants need not be present to win. Prize cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.


The draw for the winner will take place on Facebook live of Project Yumi Incorporated on 14th September 2023 by Project Yumi Incorporated Papua New Guinea (PNG) Regional Coordinator in the presence of 1 other PNG Project Yumi Team Member. All raffle tickets must be in the name of an individual over the age of 18. No prizes will be rewarded to those under the age of 18 years old.


Project Yumi Incorporated reserves the right to request winners to submit their ticket stubs as proof of identity and purchase. Proof of identification of entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Project Yumi Incorporated.

If for any reason the raffle is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) tampering or any other causes beyond the control of Project Yumi Incorporated, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the raffle Project Yumi Incorporated reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel terminate, modify or suspend the raffle pending investigation.

All winners will be notified by phone or email within 48 hours of the winners being drawn, A list of all prizes and winners (The winner’s first name along with last name initial will be published only) will be displayed on Project Yumi Incorporated Social Media Platforms and at www.projectyumi.org.


Project Yumi Incorporated shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.


The prizes must be collected by the winners by 4pm on 21st September 2023 after the winners are drawn. Project Yumi Incorporated will make all reasonable efforts to locate and notify the winners to collect the prizes. Prizes can only be picked up in Port Moresby, at a location chosen by the Project Yumi team, by the winner (showing appropriate identification) and will not be delivered. If any prizes remain unclaimed or not picked up by the collection date above, Project Yumi Incorporated reserves the right to have a re draw for another winner. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.


All entries become the property of Project Yumi Incorporated. Project Yumi Incorporated may use entrant information to contact you about news, events and general information in relation to the organisation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to Project Yumi Incorporated at info@projectyumi.com

Mystery Prize to be revealed before the live draw on 14th of September 2023


Project Yumi Incorporated and its donator and stakeholders accept no responsibility for any kind of loss or liability suffered or incurred by any of the prize-winners in relation to the prizes or the promotion. The winners release Project Yumi Incorporated and other organisers, their related bodies corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize or the promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of the prizes.
